About Us

Transit Authority Figures is a creative studio in Northampton. We've been doing this since the summer of 2003 when Rob Stewart and Damia Cavallari set up shop in their living room. Now perched high above Main Street, TAF is creating memorable and impactful objects of design, from whimsical faux subway maps to emergency decontamination pictograms. Our specialty is the project that we're working on right now, but the common denominator in all of our work is a penchant for drawing out a great idea where one was not previously evident. We aim for the perfect marriage of type, image, and space, incorporating our own home-grown illustration and photography whenever possible.
